The shop will be reopening asap just gotta do a little bit of cleaning and organizing and seeing what I have and then everything will be up and running before you know it.

hey guys
so I dont' know if most of you know but Alex and I broke up back in May when I came out for my trip to see my mom in Hawaii. I never went back and Alex refused to send all of my stuff back to me, that includes ALLLLL my sewing material and packaging ANNNDD finished toys and sewing machine.
I would really really appreciate it if anyone would be willing to donate material and etc because in Maui my sources are EXTREMELY limited. Also I reallllly miss making my toys and want to start back up in time for halloween so we can see another epic mummy boy and possible zombie couple.

I hate to ask but I need some help

If you guys can donate anything it would be greatly appreciated and I'll just give you a upfront THANK YOUUUUUUUUU SO MUCH right now.

Also for those interested if you donate I think a plushie could be in order for repayment

I miss making my toys and I haven't made any in the last 4 months. If you really love my plushies lets get the ball rolling ^___^

In other news, I will be posting some new plushies tomorrow ^_^ (its well past due time to and I apologize profusely for this)

There are a few new things coming to the shop other than new adorables, but also! I'm doing some new packaging as well as getting snazzy new business cards from moo.com. Also the wonderful LittleToad wrote a article of sweet little shops that house and create some of her favorite things such as YETIS! and my now sold Melvin the giant yeti was featured in the said article. So with this being said I can hardly refuse to share it with you :) the article is hidden in here hehe
Well luffs, I must be off to do my good deeds of being a good student and then I will forget all about that nonsense and go into the world of fleece and fluff ^_^.

I've been neglecting the shop slightly but its not intentional its just I've been working so much at Michaels that I've had no time to do anything else but sleep and get a little bit of sewing in here and there, and also trying to finish christmas presents, (one today was such a dissapointment that I stopped sewing cause i feel like everything else that i'm creating right now looks like s**t) oohhhh weeelllllll, stuff happens and you have to move on.

In other news, about the shop in general, from december 23rd - january 3 i'm gonna close the shop so I can stock up and show allll my new goodies ^_^

I have quite a few sitting in my room with me as we speak awaiting to be seeen!

Anyway I need let my brain rest right now.

so I'm changing the shops name from Lucys Colorful Dreams to Little Felt Hearts

so this precious little thing is our (alex and I) first tree ( well real(fake) tree) last years little thing doesn't count ^_^

Disneyland Halloween Decorations !

halloweeeeeeen disneyland
alex doesn't like this one but i thinks its adorable me going into his arm ^_^

and this picture is really cute but we think it makes us look fat :P
that shirt was a terrible idea to wear hahah

but over all the trip was fun we only went on two rides cause the lines were so long and we mainly just wanted to go on the rides that they changed for halloween which were only haunted mansion (which ended up being the same as the christmas decorations :P) and space mountain (which satisfied our wish for some adrenaline :))

and I had a sale the day before we came back so that was a wonderful treat from a lady with the sweetest headbands with her adorable daughter as the model (whom she bought my precious little munchkin plushie for ^_^ )

On a Halloween night while roaming through the forest a young man came across a teddy bear that was stripped blue and green.

Never before had he seen a teddy bear such shades or with such strange teeth.

His eyes looked like fried eggs and his ears were crooked.

There was something about this teddy bear though that didn't seam right, for he was a monster, not just any monster, but a sweet and gentle monster, for he still had the heart of a teddy bear.

Scuddles the Turtle

He scuddles away from the sea ocean cause he doesn't feel like swimming today

or any day at that matter

he's afraid it'll mess up his soft and tender shell

he likes hugs and long walks on the beach

take care of him and his soft shell for he's only a baby
and only time will tell

maybe he'll like the beach when he's older

or maybe he'll always be scuddling away looking for a bit of seaweed to munch on

Angel the fish is always hard to miss with her bright colors against the sea ocean

but for a fish with big ol eyes such as hers you'd think she'd have better vision

while looking for shells be bumped her poor head into a rock and fell

hense why she now has a bright purple scar

angel is a wonderful little fishy that loves to collect sea shells at the bottom of the sea
but sometimes her big eyes don't help her much so she bumps into things

she needs a buddy to go swimming with her to help her with her hobby

are you the one to take her home?

Jeffery the Giraffe

Jeffery the Giraffe fell right on his ass,
while he tried to skate today
but for a giraffe that has such a long neck and such short legs
is sure to just topple away

jeffery is very quite and a wonderful little member to any family
he's the smallest giraffe of his kind but he's full of personality oh and did i mention fashionable?

jeffery is 7 1/2 inches tall from the top of his horn to his skates, 3 1/2 inches long from butt to front, and about a inch thick

Takoyaki is Japanese for octopus and in hawaii they say tako when octopus is in the food (theres your little language lesson)

I love octopuses

they're all different colors theres ones that change color
and they have 8 arms to hug you with what more could you ask for ^_^

there are good and bad myths about octopuses but this one is just a little baby who likes to have tea parties with the fishes but noone will come cause they're afraid he'll eat them
will you take him home and have tea parties with mr. tako?

this is my second plushie and full of wonder, magic and rhyme

made from recycled clothes and filled with lots of soft

the other day i was just going outside onto our patio and saw this adorable little guy on our "money" tree from ikea

alexs mom said she'd seen the mother awhile ago
but here this little guy is just chillin

Bob the Rasta Karma God Bee

today on my way to work i noticed there was a bee on Alexs wind shield well you know you would generally think that a bee would easily or would just automatically fly off right?
well no.......... not this one.
the little guy held on for 12 miles of 65+ mph

when we would stop the car we would look at him and see if he was alive and he was he was happily moving his feelers and legs and everything and even at one point he was what looked like dancing to our reggae music.
so we named him bob the rasta bee
we were also coming up with ideas thinking that this is bee's new way of flying to get to new areas just sticking to peoples cars and what not waiting till they see a area they like then taking flight
I asked Alex if he had stayed on on the way home and he said yes.
But when we went out to the car later he had gone, so that led us to the idea that maybe he was a karma bee...... seeing if we'd brush him off or not but no we enjoyed his little visit. was just one of those loving the little things moments. Its funny too cause I was talking about bee's and how their disappearing the other day and then here comes along Bob.

I wonder where he's at now
hopefully happy in a hive somewhere all tucked in.

First Needle Felting Attempt
